Megan O’Shea
Principal Physiotherapist
MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Megan studied at Curtin University for both her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (1998) and Masters in Manipulative Therapy (2005) qualifications. She also completed certification as a Polestar Rehabilitation Pilates Practitioner (2004) and further study in Women’s Health, Continence and Pelvic Pain (2013).
She founded and opened Active Solutions Physiotherapy in 2016.
Megan has always worked in Private Practice with manual therapy and in exercise studios, treating spinal pain and sports injuries. Since having her own children, her work focus has increasingly extended into in the area of Women’s Health, Continence and Pelvic Pain.
Megan has worked in Perth, Melbourne, London and rural Ireland. Her patients have been as diverse as her geography from Highflying finance brokers to Cow farmers, from weekend casual sportspersons to Olympians.
The diverse workplace and cultural experience gained throughout her career, coupled with continuing professional development, has culminated in Megan becoming a skilled and empathetic Physiotherapist.
These days Megan’s time is divided between treating her patients , co-ordinating the impossible 3 kids x 2 sports each, running the business, regularly exercising and negotiating school pick up with her husband.
Annie George
Senior Physiotherapist
Annie graduated in 1994 and has completed additional Pilates Certifications. Annie has practiced on both sides of Australia as well as the UK and US. This unique opportunity to travel whilst honing her skills has given a breadth of experience in both best practice and patient care.
After 10 years overseas, it was time for her family to come home. Annie is thoroughly enjoying being back in Perth, now complete with teenage angst, dog walking (usually alone although they said they would help!), tennis with friends and the beach as often as possible with her husband.


Emily Hagan
Senior Physiotherapist
Since graduating Emily has worked exclusively in private practice. Emily uses a combination of hands on therapy and exercise to get your pain under control and find long term solutions. Emily has completed additional training in both pilates and strength and conditioning rehabilitation, and is currently half way through studying her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy at Curtin University.
Luke O'Connell
Physiotherapist
Luke brings a diverse background and understanding to his practice, having previously worked as an accountant in Melbourne, London and Canada. Plagued by every injury known to office workers and from playing weekend sports; he decided to pursue his real passion and study Physiotherapy.
When he’s not in the gym or on his yoga mat, he can be found on a bike, running track, at the beach or out with his dog. Luke also enjoys wider community involvement, maintaining a first aid role whereby he leads and supervises teams at a range of sporting and community events, ensuring all injuries in his care will find a safe set of hands.


Sharon gordon
Remedial Massage Therapist
Sharon is a Remedial Massage Therapist with over 15 years experience. Along with various massage techniques, she is also trained in dry needling, cupping and is a DMA approved pilates instructor for physiotherapists.
She has worked in clinics alongside physios & chiros, as well as working with high profile sporting teams. Sharon is able to achieve a relaxing massage while simultaneously “hitting the spot”. She has a special interest in pre and post knee surgery, shoulder injuries, back pain, headaches and migraines.
Her interest in massage started with her own mother’s battle with low back pain, where she learnt massage was more effective than medication!
Kirilee Wood
Specialist Personal trainer
Kirilee is an Exercise Trainer with a unique skill set. She has a high level academic background in International Health and Public Health combined with more than two decades of training and coaching individuals and groups.
She relishes working at Active Solutions as she is able to work alongside physiotherapists and implement correct exercise programs. This allows people to participate in a fitness program without feeling muscle and joint pain.
She leverages her vast experience in health, exercise, corrective exercise, psychosocial wellness, fitness, outdoor education, sports therapy and coaching. Kirilee’s enthusiasm for exercise is inspired by her love of the outdoors and her own sporting background of professional tennis, horse riding, rock climbing and endurance racing.

Mimi Thomson
Practice Manager
Mimi is a Loas native. She moved to Queensland as a teenager and relocated to Perth 12 years ago. Mimi has worked in hospitality, I.T., university administration and property management.
Mimi is a Floreat local with her children attending Floreat Park Primary School. She loves her Zumba and cooking.

Tracey Desmond
Receptionist
Tracey has come from a teaching background where she spent over 20 years taming other peoples six year old children.
She is very personable, great communicator and loves working with the public.
In her spare time Tracey enjoys tapestry, crochet, cooking and the great outdoors.
