Megan O’Shea
Principal Physiotherapist
MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Megan studied at Curtin University for both her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (1998) and Masters in Manipulative Therapy (2005) qualifications. She also completed certification as a Polestar Rehabilitation Pilates Practitioner (2004) and further study in Women’s Health, Continence and Pelvic Pain (2013).
She founded and opened Active Solutions Physiotherapy in 2016.
Megan has always worked in Private Practice with manual therapy and in exercise studios, treating spinal pain and sports injuries. Since having her own children, her work focus has increasingly extended into in the area of Women’s Health, Continence and Pelvic Pain.
Megan has worked in Perth, Melbourne, London and rural Ireland. Her patients have been as diverse as her geography from Highflying finance brokers to Cow farmers, from weekend casual sportspersons to Olympians. The diverse workplace and cultural experience gained throughout her career, coupled with continuing professional development, has culminated in Megan becoming a skilled and empathetic Physiotherapist.
These days Megan’s time is divided between treating her patients , co-ordinating the impossible 3 kids x 2 sports each, running the business, regularly exercising and negotiating school pick up with her husband.
Pedro Ivo Almeida
Physiotherapist
Pedro is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with over 19 years of expertise in the field.
Originally from Brazil, he is able to provide physiotherapy in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
He has worked extensively with elite athletes. This includes 12 years with the Brazilian National Diving Team and 3 years with the Brazilian National Women’s Water Polo Team. He was also part of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. As well as aqua sports, Pedro is an expert at treating soccer, jiu jitsu and ACL rehabilitation.
Pedro’s manual therapy skills are amazing. His hands are incredibly soft and strong at the same time. If you need hands on treatment, Pedro is one of the best practitioners you are lucky enough to meet. His focus is to combine manual therapy with tailored exercises and modern rehabilitation techniques. This approach helps each patient recovery as quickly and effectively as possible.
Dinah Khair
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Dinah hails from Singapore, completing all of her tertiary education in Perth. This includes the prestigious Musculoskeletal Masters degree at Curtin. In addition she has qualifications of Dry Needling, Pilates and has a special interest in hypermobility and arthritis pain.
Her 8 years of experience includes working in private practice settings across Brisbane, Sydney and Singapore.
She is a dedicated, thorough and skilled Physio. She is the perfect manifestation of her parents’ own careers; the brains & mechanics of an Engineer with the empathy of a Social Worker!
Nick Benson
Physiotherapist
Nick trained in the USA and brings a unique background as an elite gymnast-turned-diver after overcoming a back injury.
With a strong focus on hands-on treatment, dry needling, and tailored exercise programs, he brings world-class care to every patient. He also has advanced training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.
His passion for sport, rehab, and performance led him from pool decks in America to Queensland, following his heart—and an Australian diver—before recently relocating to Perth.
Charlotte Linnell
Physiotherapist
Charlotte is a trusted member of the Active Solutions team, having worked closely alongside Megan for several years while completing her physiotherapy training. This means she understands exactly how patients are assessed, treated, and guided through recovery in our clinic.
Charlotte’s approach mirrors the care patients know and expect at Active Solutions — thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, clear explanations, and a plan that makes sense.
As a competitive athlete, Charlotte understands injury, setbacks, and the importance of full recovery. Patients appreciate her calm confidence, practical advice, and the being genuinely listened to and well looked after.
Sharon gordon
Remedial Massage Therapist
Sharon is a Remedial Massage Therapist with over 17 years experience. Along with various massage techniques, including Lymph drainage, she is also trained in dry needling, cupping and is a DMA approved pilates instructor for physiotherapists.
She has worked in clinics alongside physios & chiros, as well as working with high profile sporting teams. Sharon is able to achieve a relaxing massage while simultaneously “hitting the spot”.
Her interest in massage started with her own mother’s battle with low back pain, where she learnt massage was more effective than medication!

Practice Manager
Liz previously worked as a Physiotherapist in New Zealand and has re-entered the workforce sitting on the other side of the desk!
She lives locally and spends the weekends running around after her kids at sport! Liz is also back on the basketball court herself after a 20 year hiatus!

Receptionist
Catherine has always worked within a varied career from working on boats to selling Japanese homewares to office work.
Her kids are now grown up (but not moved out!!) and Catherine is delighted to be in a social workplace focused on helping people.
